Grey Central Model Railway Club is a Club consisting of a small group of regional Model Railroaders who meet periodically to construct and operate a layout and share modelling skills. The Club started in year 2000.
We have a layout in the basement of Participation Lodge, five minutes east of Holland Centre, Ontario. It is an HO Scale layout in an L-shaped room about 30 ft. x 30 ft. The layout is essentially finished with scenery. There is a double track main-line in a folded dog-bone configuration. There is a large main yard complete with a nine stall roundhouse. There is also an operating gravel pit with silos. Hidden behind some backdrops there is a small yard for staging. There is also a small town, with a stream and lake. The layout originally ran on DC power, however in 2012, the layout was switched to NCE wireless DCC system.
New members are welcome.

During Daylight Saving Time: Tuesday evenings, 7:00 to 9:00 PM
During Standard Time: Sunday afternoons, 1:00 to 3:00 PM

The Club operates an Annual Open House and Show on the third Saturday of every September, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The layout is open, and various vendors offer new and used model railroad equipment for sale.
